While you probably don’t typically think of Cheese being at your Farmer’s Market, you can actually find some unusual flavors as well as the traditional cheeses like Colby, Cheddar and Monterey Jack.
We discovered cheese at our small local Farmer’s Market last Summer, and one booth in particular had a Jalapeno Cheese that was delicious. We haven’t been uptown yet this year, but we are definitely looking forward to their return.
Cheese is used in hundreds of dishes, from the very simple crackers and cheese tray to the grilled cheese sandwich to casseroles and comfort food. Here are a few recipes we love to add to your list…
- Broccoli & Cheddar Soup
- Baked Macaroni and Cheese with Bacon
- Open Face Grilled Cheese
- Deli Style Pasta Salad
- Grilled Italian Chicken Sandwich
- Chef Salad on a Stick
- Grilled Cheese with Mushrooms and Jarlsberg Cheese
