We continue our Food on a Stick series today. You won’t have to worry about getting your kiddos to eat their veggies, with this fun Chef Salad On A Stick! Or adults, for that matter!

Food on a Stick is everywhere…and I mean everywhere! Have you seen all the amazing food they serve at State Fairs? I have yet to try a Deep Fried Twinkie, but I really think I need to!

Sometimes inspiration can be a gradual blending of ideas that are completely divergent of where the initial plan was intending to take you on your travels, today’s addition to our series is just such a thing. We initially thought of several types of salad to share today from a Chicken Salad (too messy), to a Panzanella (we are on a budget). While wandering around the produce department (we do that alot) Doug started listing some of the produce to put together a salad, some good (radicchio) some not so good (sardines). Then we landed on the idea, let’s make our favorite Chef Salad and proceeded to figuring out how to take this from the bowl to the stick.

What a fun way to eat salad! These are perfect for just about any get-together…Dinner Party, Buffet, Holiday, Family Dinner, Tailgate Party or just to make a boring weeknight meal exciting. I can’t take the credit for these though, it was totally Doug’s idea to share these!
