We love pizza night in our house, especially when it’s quick and easy, with little to no clean up. Don’t get me wrong, I love making my own crust, but sometimes {a lot of the time} there just isn’t enough time.

Inspired by our Taco Bar from last week, we decided to make a Taco Pizza…my personal favorite. Doug grilled the ItalCrust, a hand stretched, wood-fired, all natural pizza crust made in Italy with only 7 ingredients, then added the toppings.

The ItalCrust are available at Walmart, and come frozen with no preservatives, for only $4.96 for a package of two. With just a few simple ingredients, the Taco Pizza goes together quickly.

After the grill was pre-heated, Doug brushed one side of the crust with Olive Oil and grilled a few minutes, flipped it over and added the salsa, taco meat and cheese, and continued to cook a few more minutes. Then we added shredded lettuce, tomatoes {fresh from the garden…yay!} and a little more cheese. Serve with sour cream and taco sauce if you like.

Delish!

Look for ItalCrust at your local Walmart Supercenter, along with the Marifano Wood Fired Pizza which is currently available in three varieties: Margherita, Four Cheese, and Spinach and Goat Cheese.
