The Olympics begin next week with the Opening Night Ceremony on Friday. Our family loves to watch the Olympics, so we thought it would be fun to share some Olympic Food, recipes from the USA and different countries, perfect for an Opening Night Party. And over on Hoosier Homemade we will have crafts, games, decorations and dessert to make your party complete.
We thought it was most appropriate to start with food from right here in the good ole’ USA. Our country is full of rich culture, from the corn in the Midwest to the fried chicken in the South. You may even get a little history lesson along the way.
Breaking the country into regions, we have pulled together some of our favorites. Since we live in the Midwest we are starting right here in the heart of the country.
