Spring has sprung! And with that comes grilling season, and all the delicious food to be prepared on the grill. But first we need to get prepared, and this Grilling Spice Blend is perfect for beef and as a base for barbecue it’s unbelievable.
Making your own spices is not only really easy, it’s a great way to be able to customize what flavors you add. Maybe you like a little more garlic and less onion in your Spice Blend. It also gives you the freedom to experiment with new spices to tweak that favorite recipe. You can even add to vegetables if you’re adventurous and then there’s everyone’s favorite – burgers.
Earlier this year as part of our Organized Kitchen series, we shared How to Organize Spices. Adding spices to these jars and labeling them with Chalkboard Labels has been one of the best Kitchen projects we have done. But since we like to shake on the Grilling Spice Blend and have it near the grill ready to use, we decided to add it to this little mason jar shaker.
