Oops, I’m a little late today…but don’t cry. Because today we’re swinging by the Farmer’s Market for some Spring Onions. Why spring onions, well the cool spring weather is ideal for all types of onions. The cool conditions help regulate the growth so it doesn’t get pithy and the flavor is not quite as harsh.

I love cooking with onions, there are so many ways to eat them, I’ve never tried eating them like an apple but I’ve seen people do it, I love adding it to dishes and let the flavor infuse throughout the entire meal. We always share a list of recipes that go well with what ever we are highlighting for Farmer’s Market Friday but I just can’t list them all so here are a few of my favorites.
