Never has there been a weekly menu plan more to my liking than this week. I am, quite literally, excited for every single day of the week. In fact, I’m so excited about these recipes, I won’t find it a chore to cook at all. If Fajitas, Wet Bean Burritos, Grilled Chicken Philly Sandwiches don’t get you excited, maybe dessert will! Homemade Twix Bars! YUM!
Since this week will feel like a joy to cook, I’ll certainly have extra energy to double up on the meatballs Thursday night. Those will get frozen and used next week in a recipe. In fact, maybe I’ll make up extra Twix Bars as well. They will be the perfect treat to take to a friend as a way of saying “thanks.” Who would you give an extra batch to?
Monday – Grilled Chicken Fajitas, Homemade Pico
Tuesday – Asian Pineapple Chicken in the Slow Cooker over Rice
Wednesday – Wet Bean Burrito, Chips and Salsa
Thursday – Classic Spaghetti and Meatballs and Salad (make a double batch of meatballs, freeze for next week)
Friday – Grilled Chicken Philly Sandwiches, Veggies and Dip
Saturday – Sweet BBQ Chicken Kabobs, Pasta Salad
Sunday – Baked Potato Bar (cook potatoes in Slow Cooker)
Dessert of the Week: Twix Bars
