Pizza night is always a hit in our house and I’m pretty sure in yours as well! But we often get bored with the same old recipe and like to change things up a bit. Several years back I made Bubble Pizza. It was one of those recipes that everyone liked, but I never made again, and not really sure why.

Earlier this week, I headed over to Taste of Home, grabbed the recipe again and had Doug whip it up. It turned out well again, we weren’t absolutely in love with it, and it won’t replace our normal Pizza Night, but we did like it.

We changed the original recipe up a bit to include our favorite pizza toppings; sausage and pepperoni. And we made Homemade Pizza Sauce also. The refrigerated biscuits used for the crust gave it a very hearty taste.

And we added a little more cheese than what the recipe called for, because pizza needs to be ooey and gooey with lots of cheese. The dish went together in a snap and fed our family of 5 plus a little leftover.
