Ingredients
Scale
- 1 pound {tube} sausage, cooked and drained if necessary – or ground beef
- 1 package sliced pepperoni
- 1 can {15 oz} pizza sauce or make your own
- 2 tubes refrigerated biscuits
- 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese or pizza blend
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
Instructions
- In a large skillet, cook sausage until no longer pink, drain if necessary
- In a small saucepan, make pizza sauce or add can of pizza sauce to the sausage
- Cut pepperoni in half and add to skillet {optional}
- Cut each biscuit into quarters and place in a greased 13×9 baking dish
- Top with sausage mixture
- Bake at 400 degrees for 20 minutes
- Sprinkles with cheeses and continue to bake for 5-10 minutes longer or until cheese is melted
- Let stand for 5 minutes before serving
Notes
Any pizza toppings that you like can be added to this dish.
Doug didn’t use the full package of pepperoni, about 3/4 of it.
