Grilled Chicken Skewers with Herb and Wine Marinade

In the waning days of Summer the opportunities to spend an evening relaxing and enjoying the weather with friends becomes a precious time. And what a better way to end the Summer than a casual evening grilling and reliving the memories of the past summer with a glass of 14 Hands Wine. These Grilled Chicken Skewers with Herb and Wine Marinade are elegant enough to serve at a dinner party but easy enough for a weeknight meal!

14 Hands Wine celebrates the spirit of wild horses, the rich and unique history of Washington wines not only in their wines, but also in the vibrant colors and images on their popular varietal labels and their new Hot to Trot red and white blend wines. Whether you enjoy 14 Hands by the glass in your favorite restaurant, or share a bottle with family or friends, their wines are the quintessential Washington wine experience – fruit-forward, easily enjoyable with any meal or on any occasion, and delivering a superb value for the price.

The marinade made with fresh herbs and wine gave the chicken a delicious blend of flavors as well as keeping it moist.

We used the Hot to Trot White Blend Wine that has intense aromas of peach compote with tropical and floral nuances, flavors of fresh apple, pear and melon are balanced by juicy acidity.

Cut into strips, then threaded onto wooden skewers gives the Grilled Chicken a special look, but it’s easy and can be made even the day before you plan on serving them.
