We are converts! Converts to cooking wine. Over the last year we have been working with Mizkan and have had the chance to see first hand how their line of Holland House Cooking Wines can add a load of flavor in about anyway we could imagine. From a base in a marinade, to adding a little zing to dips. And they do this while being an economical alternative as well.

To celebrate we are giving away a prize pack from Mizkan that includes 3 bottles of Holland House Cooking Wines of your choosing, a new set of stainless steel measuring cups and spoons, coupons and a recipe booklet.

To get inspired and learn more ways to use Holland House Cooking Wines sign up for their Splash Recipe Club e-newsletter that’s full of members-only offers and great-tasting recipe ideas.

  1. I love to use wine when making chicken marsala – our favorite.

    • My favorite way of using them is to braise my meats & poultry in along with vegetables & seasonings.

  2. I love to use cooking wine to make dishes taste rich on a budget. I use it in sauces, to deglaze, and/or as a fat substitute. 🙂

  3. Thank you for the introduction to Holland House Cooking Wines. I am heading over to their site asap. I cook with wines all the time, but rarely with Marsala, only because I always have reds and whites that get opened and need to be used up. Thank you for sharing.

I’ve only used cooking wines when called for in a recipe; however, my husband is interested in experimenting more in the kitchen. Thanks for the giveaway.

  5. I have only used cooking wines when a recipe calls for it, which is not very often.

  6. I have never cooked with cooking wine, but I have wanted to! This would be a great opportunity!

  7. I love adding a splash of the wine to almost all my dishes. There’s just an added taste that amps of the meal.
