We’re back to beguile you with the tantalizing tastes of these BeDeviled Burgers. These are some of the tenderest burgers you’ll throw on the grill and when you take the first bite the flavors seem to marry together all at once making this one of my all time favorites especially around Halloween.
One of the pitfalls to mixing liquids and dry ingredients into hamburger is that to get them evenly incorporated more often than not you will over work the mixture and your hamburgers will be though hockey pucks. There is a simple process that I wanted to share that will make it easier so let’s get started.
Grab two bowls, one large enough to mix the hamburger in and the other about half that size. Start off by crumbling the hamburger into the large bowl and add any wet ingredients, this included chopped vegetables.
In the smaller bowl add the dry ingredients and mix them together with a fork or small whisk.
Next take a wooden spoon or spatula and fold the wet ingredients into the hamburger. I know you’ll want to hurry this along but refrain from mixing with your hands. It’s human nature to grab and squeeze the dickens out of the mixture and that’s what makes them tough. Once you have incorporated the wet ingredients add the dry ingredients and fold them in as well.
Now your ready to patty them up and then off to the grill. Do you want to know how to banish the puffy burger? Simply poke a finger size hole in the center of the patty and when it cooks it doesn’t puff up.
So give these a try this year and soon your guests will be beguiled as much as you. Waaahahaha!!!
