A house full of men and bacon pretty much go hand in hand, at least in our house they do. We’ve long been searching for the ultimate guy food and we may have just found it, J&D’s Foods was founded with the same goal. Boldly take Bacon where Bacon has never gone before.

With money won on America’s Funniest Home Videos, two friends with zero experience in the food industry went onto become a profitable privately held multimillion dollar food company. With 30+ products like Bacon Salt, Baconnaise, Bacon Croutons, BaconPOP, Malt Salt and Bacon Crispy Bake they are a bacon lover’s dream.

Here’s one Bacon Lover’s take on oven fries…

Wash and peel potatoes, then cut them into wedges. Toss with a little oil and sprinkle on J&D’s Crispy Bake. Pop them in the oven at 450 degrees for about 30 minutes {depending on thickness of fries} and you have a delicious alternative to the regular old oven fry.

J&D’s Crispy Bake is great in the oven, in the deep fryer, or even sprinkled over casseroles. The Bacon Crispy Bake is both Kosher and Vegetarian, making it a surprisingly healthy alternative. It is new to Walmart and available only in Supercenters, with a national product price of $2.49.

J&D’s Foods also make several other bacon flavored products. We also had the chance to try the Bacon Salt, which the boys loved and Casey ate the Bacon Croutons like they were popcorn.
