Supreme Pizza Dip

March Madness is upon us! And the Sweet Sixteen starts this weekend! We are excited to see the Indiana Hoosiers play on Friday! Our good friend and blogging buddy, Tiffany from Eat at Home and I created a little rivalry. You see, Indiana plays Kentucky…so we just had to share some fun March Madness Basketball Cupcakes with Blue Velvet vs Red Velvet = Kentucky vs Indiana!

We thought this Supreme Pizza Dip would be perfect for your March Madness Party, or even Pizza Night.

The Pizza Dip starts with a base of Mozzarella cheese, Cheddar cheese, Parmesan cheese and Mayo, then you add the pizza ingredients that you like. I added Sausage, Mushrooms, Pepperoni, Green Peppers and Onion to make it a Supreme Pizza Dip.

We found the original recipe over at A Farmgirl’s Dabbles, check out her blog…she has lots of great recipes!

Supreme Pizza Dip Recipe

Change up Pizza Night with this dip. Recipe from

  • 2 cups Mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 2 cups Cheddar cheese, shredded {mild, medium or sharp}
  • 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup Hellmann's Mayonnaise {or 1/2 mayo and 1/2 sour cream}
  • 1 cup Turkey Pepperoni, chopped
  • 1 cup Pork Sausage, cooked
  • 1 cup sliced mushrooms, sauteed in 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1/2 cup onion, finely chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon basil
  • 1/2 teaspoon oregano {or 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning}
  • 1/8 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
  • 1/8 teaspoon pepper
  • Chips
  • Mission Multi-Grain Flour Tortillas
  • Oil for brushing

  1. Cook sausage and saute mushrooms
  2. In a large bowl, combine all ingredients, mix well
  3. Preheat oven to 350 degrees
  4. Spread dip into 13x9 pan
  5. Cook for about 20-25 minutes, or until bubbly
  6. Chips
  7. Cut tortillas into 8 pieces using a pizza cutter
  8. Brush with a small amount of oil
  9. Place on a cookie sheet and bake at 400 for about 10 minutes or until crispy

This Pizza Dip can easily be made up ahead, just cover with plastic wrap and keep in fridge. Remove from fridge about 20 minutes before cooking. The dip is best served right out of the oven, but we enjoyed it after it was cooled down a bit as well. We served the Pizza Dip with chips made from a multi-grain flour tortilla, but also liked it with Tostitos Scoops chips.
