Notes

I used almost the entire jar of apple sauce. When I made the apple sauce, it made about: 16 ounces or two cups. I think a can of apple pie filling is around 20 ounces. Also, I’ve made this with 6 chops as well.

  1. Could you assemble this ahead of time and bake later? I’m a stresser when it comes to holiday meals. This sounds really good for Christmas lunch.
Or maybe I should just premake the stuffing and assemble and bake the day of.

    • Hi Jessica, yes you could assemble this pork chop dinner ahead. I wouldn’t do it a lot ahead though, the stuffing with soak up the moisture from the apple sauce pretty quickly. And yes, you could make the stuffing ahead and have everything ready to assemble pretty easily the day of.
      Happy Cooking!
