Pizza is one of our family’s all time favorite foods. In our minds, you really can’t go wrong with pizza. Whether it’s just basic crust, red sauce, and cheese, or whether you slather it in meats and/or vegetables, or make a “themed” pizza like Taco Pizza or Greek Pizza it is all around delicious.

We have our favorite pizza places but we have also grown fond of making our own. It is MUCH less expensive and each pizza can be customized with ingredients of your liking.

I have to admit, homemade pizza dough is so much better. I used to buy the pre-made pizza dough that I could just roll out until I found this super easy bread machine pizza dough recipe. Quick and easy homemade pizza sauce

The best part is, it will look like you spent hours preparing it, and it is really just a few simple steps. It literally takes five minutes to prepare and will knock the socks off of any canned sauce. We know you don’t have a lot of time to spare, but that doesn’t mean your food has to lack in quality.

  1. I suggest adding another step which includes allowing the dough to rest once the dough cycle is complete. Otherwise, the yeast makes the dough to elastic and hard to roll out.
