Mother’s Day is next Sunday! Liz has been wanting an Ice Cream Maker for a long time, so when I saw the special display at Walmart, I knew I would make some brownie points with her. I grabbed what I needed for the machine, ice and rock salt, then headed home to surprise her {a little early}. After chatting a bit about her favorites, we decided to give Peanut Butter Cup Ice Cream a try, pairing one of her favorite candies with Homemade Ice Cream…it was a win-win!

It had been a really long time since I’ve made Ice Cream, growing up we used to make it all the time. But I wanted it to turn out delicious, and I wasn’t really sure what ingredients I would need. So, I searched around and found a recipe that sounded perfect on Recipe Girl. And…I was right…it was delicious!

Let me share with you just how easy it was to make the Ice Cream

Have you made Homemade Ice Cream before? What flavor is your favorite?

  1. Oh man, this looks SO good. When I was little, we used to drive to the corner store and they sold Moose Tracks Icecream. They had mini (like 1/2 inch wide, 1/4 inch tall) peanut butter cups in them! My favorite was to pick them all out, and eat the icecream. Then eat the mini cups all by themselves. =D Great post thanks for sharing.
