I have to admit I get a little jealous, jealous of those of you who live where the weather allows you to dine outdoors during the entire year. So when we get the opportunity to throw an outdoor party and the weather finally cooperates you know we’re going to jump on the chance. So I thought we’d call a few friends and throw together an Easy Outdoor Italian Bistro.
I don’t know about you, but having friends over is one of my absolute things to do. However, I used to panic when it was time to host a party, with all the prep, cleaning, cooking and serving that it took. But this time around, we kept it super simple, added a little wine to the mix with some appetizers and a couple of entrees from Michael Angelo’s and we had a terrific gathering.
Here’s the star of my show in my opinion, Michael Angelo’s Meat Lasagna. Authentic Italian, from Grandmother’s recipe, made with love using the highest quality, most wholesome and flavorful ingredients available.
Another favorite of our guests was the Chicken Parmesan, an old family classic. It’s a favorite for both the kids and adults in our family. Michael Angelo’s uses imported Italian cheeses and 100% Durum Semolina Pasta.
The New Flatbread Appetizers were definitely a hit with our boys! Just like most teenagers, they like the Pepperoni & Salami Flatbread the most. You can find the Flatbreads along with the other Main Entrees in the frozen section of most major grocery stores.
No sooner than we got the table set and everyone was digging in. I didn’t even get to finish cutting the appetizers.
Just like the founders of Michael Angelo’s Italian Gourmet Foods, Mike and his mother, Sara believe that “authentic Italian” means more than merely eating – it means taking time to sit down at the table, savor each course and visit with those sharing your meal, we enjoyed sharing our Easy Outdoor Italian Bistro with family and friends. It was another successful party with little hassle and just enough time to enjoy one last glass of wine!
