Ingredients

- 1 box Barilla Piccolini Mini Penne
- 4 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 pint cherry tomatoes, cut in half
- 1 small onion, diced
- 4 basil leaves, torn
- 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
- Salt and Pepper to taste
Instructions
- Boil pasta according to directions on box.
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil.
- Saute onions, until slightly brown
- Drain pasta, reserving 1/2 cup water.
- Add tomatoes and saute for additional 2 minutes.
- Add pasta and liquid to skillet and cook additional 1 minute.
- Season with salt and pepper
- Top with basil and Parmesan cheese right before serving.
- Prep Time: 5 minutes
- Cook Time: 15 minutes
