One of the best ways to keep your menu plan within your budget is to cook based on what is seasonally on-sale. In the month of November, you should find turkey at a great price. It’s a good idea, if your budget allows for it, to purchase extra now and save them for a later date.
This week, we are making an Oven Roasted Turkey Breast which will be delicious, of course but it will also be good in a couple of months. Buy an extra turkey breast this week and freeze it until a later date for your family to enjoy! If you still have room in the budget, pick another meal and double the ingredients to make a spare and have it in the freezer for a night when things are busy during December when our schedules are jam packed.
