It’s hard to believe August is coming to a close. In just a short while, Labor Day, the unofficial end of summer will arrive and we’ll be headed into fall. This time of year is extremely busy in my home, thankfully the weekly menu plan for this week will help alleviate any stress I may be feeling around dinner time.
With the busy back-to-school season here, the slow cooker is going to be our best friend. It’s great for nights when you have back-to-school events, practices or have to run out for that school supply your child just has to have before school the next day. Having dinner cooking for when you arrive home is going to be a lifesaver.
Monday – Royal Burgers, Grilled Veggies and Pasta Salad
Tuesday – Seven Layer Southwest Salad
Wednesday – Slow Cooker Enchiladas and Mexican Rice
Thursday – Teriyaki Beef Noodle Bowl and Salad
Friday – BLT Grilled Cheese, Green Beans and Corn
Saturday – Slow Cooker Beef and Noodles, Salad
Sunday – Homemade Pizza Pockets
Monday – Southwest Marinated Grilled Chicken with Sweet Corn
Dessert of the Week – Chocolate Zucchini Cake
