A little sweet – a little spicy – these “wings” might just surprise you. Perfect as a side dish or appetizer, whip up a batch of these Sweet and Spicy Veggie Wings to enjoy this weekend.

  • Total Time: 50 mins
  • Yield: 4 servings 1x




  • ¼ cup sweet chili sauce
  • ¼ cup low-sodium soy
  • 2 tsp Sriracha hot sauce
  • 1 Tbsp peanut oil
  • 1 tsp red pepper flakes
  • 1 tsp fresh grated ginger


  • One large head cauliflower
  • ½ cup flour
  • ½ cup Silk almond or cashew milk
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • ¼ tsp black pepper


  • 12 green onions
  • 2 Tbsp chopped peanuts



  1. Combine all of the sauce ingredients together in a bowl. Whisk and set aside.


  1. Preheat oven to 450 and spray a baking sheet with cooking spray
  2. Cut the cauliflower into small florets. (The smaller they are, the faster they will cook)
  3. Whisk together flour, milk, and seasonings
  4. Toss cauliflower in batter until thoroughly coated
  5. Arrange cauliflower evenly on baking sheet
  6. Bake for 20 minutes until they are almost done but not quite golden brown
  7. Remove from oven and pour sauce over cauliflower
  8. Return to oven for another 5 minutes
  9. Remove from oven, toss around in sauce
  10. Return to oven for another 5 minutes
  11. Remove from oven. Let cool for 5-10 minutes
  12. Place florets in a serving bowl and garnish with peanuts and scallions
