When times get busy and stressful in my house, I like to turn to my slow cooker to help alleviate the dinner stress. That doesn’t change during the holidays. In fact, I probably use it even more often because I’m extra busy. A Slow Cooker Ham is perfect for this time of year!
For this recipe, I prep the ham the night before I’m going to serve it. I do this right inside of the slow cooker bowl. In the morning, I just set the cooker on low and go about my day. That evening I have a delicious smelling dinner ready to go.
Dinner is free from stress and for a moment, it feels almost like I have a personal chef who did all the cooking.
This Slow Cooker Ham would be perfect for dinner on Christmas. Set it into the slow cooker in the morning as you are preparing your family Christmas breakfast. No stressing about dinner this holiday season, let the slow cooker do it all for you

Hi, I just popped over from the ‘DIY Sunday Showcase.
You couldn’t have posted this at a better time, I have just asked friends to bring me back 2 Hams back from Germany (I live in Holland and you can not buy the right joint where I live).
I’m definitely going to give this one a whirl – thanks for posting!
You are my hero. This recipe looks like it will save the day,
What kind of ham do you recommend using?
Hi there,
I can’t to make this recipie, however, as per Becky’s question do you use Fresh Ham or Pre Cooked Spiral Ham?
Hi Susan, you can use either type of ham. I would suggest adjusting the cook time if the ham is pre-cooked.

Been cooking for a long long time, this recipe was by far the, no THE best ham ever!!! Put a smaller ham, 3 1/2 lbs in the Crock-Pot early in the morning today, Easter Sunday came home to a house filled with the amazing aroma. So good. Juicy, tender, just enough sweetness.Drizzeked a bit of glaze when serving!!! Thanks and Happy Easter!!
