Change up your boring salad with this Chef Salad on a Stick! Even the kids will love salad this way!
Ingredients
For the Salad
- Cherry Tomatoes,whole
- Lettuce, cut into cubes
- Ham, cubed
- Cucumber, sliced
- Hard Boiled Eggs, halved (1/2 egg per stick)
- Cheese (we used Colby), cubed
- Croutons (recipe below)
- Bamboo Skewers, at least 10″ in length
- Ranch Dressing
Croutons
- Italian Bread, cut into 1/2-1″ cubes
- Olive Oil
- Italian Seasoning
- Garlic Salt
Instructions
For the Croutons
- Preheat oven to 450.
- Place bread cubes onto a baking sheet and spritz with olive oil, or brush on.
- Sprinkle with seasoning and garlic salt.
- Bake for 5 minutes until crispy. Set aside to cool.
For the Salad
- Assemble the skewers as below or make your own combination!
- First, thread a cherry tomato onto the stick and bring it almost to the bottom. Follow with lettuce, ham, cucumbers, half a hard boiled egg, one cheese cube and a crouton.
- Serve with Ranch or your favorite dressings.
