A great side dish or add meat for a complete meal. Recipe from

  • Total Time: 25 minutes


  • 3 cups rice, cooked and cooled
  • 34 green onions chopped finely
  • 2 tablespoons oil
  • 1/2 pound {1/2 package} pork sausage
  • 1 cup frozen peas and carrots
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 1/41/2 fresh bean sprouts {if you can’t find fresh, look in the Asian section, they have them in a can too}
  • 24 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 packet Sun-Bird Fried Rice Seasoning


  1. Cook and cool rice
  2. Fry sausage, drain and set aside
  3. After the rice is cooled, heat oil in skillet and add rice and green onions, cook until lightly brown
  4. Pull the rice to one side of the pan and add the beaten eggs, scramble into rice
  5. Add sausage, peas, carrots and bean sprouts
  6. Add seasoning and soy sauce
  7. Heat through
