The Summer Sausage, Red and White Wine Pepperoni and Havarti Cheese are as easy as slice and serve. And everyone loves sausage and cheese!
The Ham and Brie Sandwiches with Cranberry-Honey Mustard are not only a great way to use up any leftover ham {which saves on the grocery bill} but they are delicious! The combination of Garlic Beer Bread Mix, cranberries and orange flavor gives a classic a new twist.
When we are setting up for parties, we often times like to have different stations around the house, making it easier for guests to move around, mingle and visit. In the Living Room, we set the table with a selection of ALDI Wines and Cheese Sampler.
ALDI offers a variety of delicious wines at a very reasonable price, including these three that we chose…Villa Malizia Pinot Grigio, Walker Red Wine Napa Valley and Sunshine Bay Sauvignon Blanc.

Description
A delicious sandwich that can be served as an appetizer or paired with a side dish for the main course. Recipe from PocketChangeGourmet.com. Adapted from ALDI Test Kitchens
Ingredients
Garlic Beer Bread Biscuits
- Carlini Cooking Spray
- 1 box Baker’s Corner Garlic Beer Bread Mix
- 11.2 oz. Holland Lager 1839
- 1/2 cup Southern Grove Dried Cranberries, rehydrated in warm water
- 2 teaspoon orange zest
- 1/2 cup fresh squeezed orange juice
- 3 tablespoons Countryside Creamery Unsalted Butter, melted
Cranberry-Honey Mustard
- 1/2 cup Sweet Harvest Whole Berry Cranberry Sauce
- 1/2 cup Berryhill Honey
- 1/4 cup Burman’s Dijon Mustard
- 8 oz. Specially Selected Brie Cheese Round
- 3/4 lb. Appleton Farms Quarter Boneless Sliced Ham
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°. Spray muffin pan with nonstick spray.
- Combine bread mix, lager, rehydrated cranberries, zest and juice of orange. Do not over mix. Place 1/4 cup of batter into each muffin cup.
- Lightly brush melted butter onto each roll in the muffin pan. Bake for 25 minutes. Cool for 5 minutes.
- While rolls are baking, whisk together cranberry sauce, honey and mustard. Set aside.
- Cut off white rind of brie and slice into 1/4-inch slices.
- Cut ham into slices the size of the muffin cup.
- Slice rolls in half. On each bottom, place a slice of ham, and 1 teaspoon of cranberry-honey mustard. On each top, place a slice of brie. Place open-faced sandwiches on a parchment lined cookie sheet. Bake in oven for 5 minutes.
- Place tops on sandwiches, serve warm.

- Cook Time: 30 minutes
