I love the holidays. The food, the family, everything about them is wonderful. Â One of my favorite parts is when our family comes together for a nice meal. During these meals Hickory Farms has always been present.
Hickory Farms is being especially good this year by giving back to the community. They have a partnership with Operation Gratitude,  a national nonprofit organization that creates care packages for military men and women and their families. They have eight products that offer free shipping to military APO and FPO addresses.
They have also  formed a partnership with Share Our Strength, a leading national nonprofit organization that works to stamp out childhood hunger. This holiday season, Hickory Farms will donate $5 to Share Our Strength’s No Kid Hungry Campaign for each Party Planner gift box they sell. To date Hickory Farms and its customers have donated $1.9 million.
My family and I love Hickory Farms’ sausage, especially their Summer Sausage. And apparently we’re not the only ones; their Signature Summer Sausage was recently rated the #1 Summer Sausage in America, winning the Masters of Taste Gold Medal for Superior Taste, in 2011. Hickory Farms is glad to have been a part of many families’ lives for over 60 years, providing foods that look as good as they taste. At varying prices, they make a good choice of gift for anyone.
Hickory Farms is certainly making itself a big part of everybody’s holiday season, including our own. With so many foods to choose from, I’m sure Hickory Farms will be seen on quite a few tables this year.
