Use up your leftover ham with this delicious Ham and Bean Crockpot Soup! It goes together in a snap and will have the whole family asking for seconds!
Ingredients
- 1 leftover ham bone
- 1 cup diced ham
- 2 cans (15.5 oz each) Great Northern Beans
- -Or use canned Cannellini beans
- 2 cups diced carrots
- 1 cup diced celery
- 1/2 cup diced onion
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 teaspoons oregano, dried
- 1 teaspoon rosemary, dried
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 6 cups water
Instructions
- In a large slow cooker, add ham bone and any leftover juices.
- Add remaining ingredients to slow cooker: ham, beans, carrots, celery, onion, garlic, oregano, rosemary, salt, pepper and water. Stir to combine.
- Heat on low for 7-8 hours or high for 3-4.
- Spoon into serving bowls and garnish with a few sprigs of fresh parsley (optional)
