Pork Fried Rice

Description

A great way to use up leftover rice and pork steak. Recipe from PocketChangeGourmet.com


Ingredients

Scale
  • 3 cups rice, cooked and cooled
  • 34 green onions, chopped finely
  • 3 tablespoons oil
  • 1 pound pork steak, cooked and chopped
  • 1 cup frozen peas and carrots
  • 1/2 can bean sprouts, drained and rinsed
  • 4 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 inch fresh ginger root, minced

Instructions

  1. Cook and cool rice or use leftover rice
  2. Cut cooked pork steak into small pieces
  3. Heat oil in large skillet add rice, pork steak, onions, peas and carrots and cook until lightly brown
  4. Add soy sauce, garlic and ginger, stir together
  5. Add bean spouts and stir
  6. Heat through

Notes

You can also use cooked pork sausage
