The fire is roaring – the snow is coming down – the lights on the Christmas tree are twinkling. Time to get out the blender, grab the hot chocolate mix, milk, ice and candy canes to whip up a special wintery drink – Frozen Peppermint Hot Chocolate.
If you are not a mint fan, you can certainly make these Holiday drinks with regular hot chocolate mix, but for me, nothing screams the holidays more than Peppermint.
The ingredient list is very simple – hot chocolate mix, milk, ice and whipped topping if you like. The only key to this delicious drink is a good blender.
We recently received the Oster Versa Blender and thought this recipe would be perfect to put it to the test.
Add the hot chocolate mix to the blender, we used Mint flavored mix (found in the coffee aisle at Walmart), but if you can’t find it at your store, you can add a teaspoon of Peppermint Extract. Then add the milk and about 3 cups of ice.
The Oster Versa Performance Blender makes delicious healthy meals and snacks with 1,400W powerful motor, stainless steel blades spin at 250-mph or 28,000-rpm that ensure the smoothest consistency of your smoothies, whole juices, hot soups, sorbets, nut butters, and more.
It’s pre-programmed settings for smoothie, soups, dips/spreads take the guesswork out of blending and the all metal drive system for lasting durability.
The Oster Versa Performance Blender is available at Walmart and now until December 24, you will receive a $50 Walmart Gift Card with your purchase.
