Grilled Beer Can Chicken

The most moist chicken ever, and super easy to prepare. Beer Can Chicken recipe from PocketChangeGourmet.com
Serves: 1 chicken
Ingredients
  • 1 whole chicken {4-5 pounds}, cleaned and washed
  • Oil to rub on chicken
  • Spices - Seasoned Salt, Greek Seasoning, Salt, Pepper, Oregano, Basil, Parsley {any or all are some that I have used}
  • 1 can of Beer
Instructions
  1. Clean and wash chicken
  2. Rub with oil
  3. Coat with seasonings of your choice (inside and outside of chicken)
  4. Open Beer and drink a little (about half the can)
  5. Place chicken on top of beer can
  6. Grill on mediun heat for about 1½ hours
  7. Insert a meat thermometer and cook until at least 165 degrees in the thickest part of breast
  8. Carefully remove chicken from can
  9. Discard beer
  10. Slice and serve chicken
