In a small saucepan, add the almonds and sugar, cover over medium low heat, stirring constantly until golden {watch carefully - they will burn quickly}
Pour onto wax paper and cool
Break into pieces
Salad
In a large bowl, combine the lettuce, onion and strawberries.
Combine the dressing ingredients; drizzle over salad and toss to coat.
Sprinkle with coated almonds.
