Jalapeno Poppers with Bacon

The perfect appetizer for parties, football tailgating, holidays and more! Whip up these delicious poppers with just a few ingredients.

  • 8 - 10 Jalapeno peppers
  • 8 oz. Cream Cheese, softened
  • 2 tablespoons Green Onion, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon Kosher Salt
  • 6 oz. Queso Fresca Cheese or Fresh Mozzarella
  • 10 slices Bacon, cut in half
  1. Cut Jalapenos length wise and remove seeds and white fleshy parts
  2. Blend together the Cream Cheese, Green Onion, Garlic and Kosher Salt
  3. Add cream cheese miixture to jalapenos
  4. Crumble and add Queso Fresca Cheese to top
  5. Wrap with ½ strip of bacon and secure with toothpick
  6. Preheat cast iron griddle to 375 to 400 degrees
  7. Place poppers on griddle and cook for 25 to 30 minutes
