Grilled Asparagus and Red Potatoes

This simple Grilled Asparagus and Red Potatoes side dish goes together in minutes and is great with burgers, hot dogs, chicken and more!
Serves: 4 servings
  • 6 small red potatoes - cleaned and cut into pieces
  • 1 pound fresh asparagus spears - cleaned and trimmed
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • ⅛ teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • ¼ teaspoon onion powder
  • ¼ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  1. Clean and cut asparagus and potatoes and place in large bowl
  2. Drizzle with olive oil
  3. Combine salt and seasonings and sprinkle over vegetables
  4. Toss to coat
  5. Heat grill, place grill basket on grill (or cook vegetables directly on grate)
  6. Add potatoes to grill and cook 15 minutes, turning occasionally
  7. Add asparagus to grill and cook 10 minutes, turning occasionally
  8. Vegetables are done when they are fork tender
