Herb and Cheese Stuffed Mushrooms

An easy appetizer, great for the holidays, game night, parties and more.

  • 1 pkg (6 oz) Stuffing Mix
  • 1½ cups hot water
  • 4 ounce (1/2 of 8 oz pkg) Cream Cheese
  • 1 cup shredded cheese
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 20 fresh mushrooms
  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees and line cookie sheet with foil
  2. Pour stuffing mix in large bowl, add hot water and stir just until moist
  3. Stir in cream cheese, ½ cup shredded cheese and garlic until well combined
  4. Remove stems from mushroom and clean with a damp paper towel
  5. Fill mushroom caps with 1-2 tablespoons stuffing mixture
  6. Place mushrooms on cookie sheet
  7. Add additional cheese to mushrooms
  8. Bake for 20 minutes or until golden and the cheese is melted
  9. Serve immediately, store leftovers in fridge
