Broccoli Grape Salad Recipe

Cold and crunchy salad that is perfect for potlucks, cook-outs and easy enough for weeknight meals.

Serves: 5-6 servings
  • ½ pound bacon (about 8 slices) cut into small pieces, cooked and drained
  • 3 cups fresh broccoli, cleaned and cut into small pieces
  • 1 cup grapes, red and/or green, halved
  • ¼ cup finely chopped red onion
  • ½ cup sunflower seeds - reserve some for garnish if desired
  • ½ cup mayonnaise or salad dressing
  • 2 tablespoon sugar
  1. Cook and drain bacon, set aside
  2. In a large bowl, combine broccoli, grapes, onions, and sunflower seeds
  3. In a small bowl, combine mayonnaise and sugar until smooth
  4. Pour dressing over salad and toss to coat
  5. Add bacon, reserving a little for garnish if desired
  6. Cover and place in fridge for at least 1 hour up to 24 hours
  7. Before serving, add remaining bacon and sunflower seeds to the top
This recipe can easily be doubled to feed a crowd.
