Honey Hoisin Chicken Sandwiches in the Slow Cooker

Serves: 6-8 Sandwiches
  • 4-6 chicken breast, skinless & boneless
  • ¼ cup honey
  • ¼ cup soy sauce
  • ¼ cup hoisin sauce
  • ¼ cup Holland House Sake Cooking Wine or white wine
  • 1 tablespoon finely chopped fresh ginger or ¼ teaspoon ground ginger
  • Sesame Seed Buns
  • Lettuce - we used mixed greens
  • Bean Sprouts
  1. Place chicken in slow cooker
  2. Combine all sauce ingredients and pour over chicken
  3. Cook 4-5 hours on high or 7-8 hours on low
  1. Allow chicken to set 10-15 minutes to cool a bit, then shred using 2 forks, return to slow cooker or add sauce to the chicken
  2. Add lettuce to bottom of bun, add chicken and bean sprouts
