Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup warm milk {70 to 80 degrees F – I put mine in the microwave for 1 minute}
  • 1/2 cup butter or margarine, softened
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons salt
  • 4 cups bread flour
  • 2 1/4 teaspoons active dry yeast {a little more than 1 package}

Instructions

  1. Put all ingredients in bread machine, according to manufacturer directions.
  2. Select dough setting. {mine is 1 hr + 20 minutes}
  3. When bread machine beeps and cycle is complete, turn dough onto a lightly floured surface.
  4. Divide dough and shape into small 1 inch balls
  5. Place 3 balls into greased muffins tins {this recipe made 24 rolls}
  6. Cover and let rise in a warm place for 15 minutes
  7. Bake at 375 degrees for 13-16 minutes or until golden brown

These rolls were delicious, flaky and still moist. We tried several different sizes, the 1 inch balls were the best.

I could hardly wait for these to come out of the oven, they smelled so good.
