Our family has many favorite meals, many of them are probably similar to meals that your family enjoys also. Classic Spaghetti with Meatballs is probably one of the top choices. It’s one of those meals that you can put on the table when you are in a hurry, or with a little more time, make it from scratch. This recipe involves a little more time, but definitely well worth it.
Although we have shared Homemade Meatball recipe with you before, Doug wanted to try his hand at a new recipe. And I think he found a keeper! The meatballs have a mixture of sausage as well as ground beef and with the addition of Parmesan Cheese, it makes them moist and flavorful.
The Spaghetti Sauce starts with Italian Sausage, but the onion, tomato sauce, diced tomatoes and herbs are the same recipe I use for Lasagna. We recently discovered the Gourmet Gardens fresh herbs and love them. With herbs from the garden or even when we buy them, unless we take the time to freeze them, they often go bad before we can use them up. The Gourmet Gardens have cut down on that waste considerably.
Serve with a nice salad, and garlic bread and you have a meal fit for a king!
