Spicy Mayo
- 1 cup mayonnaise
- 1 tablespoon Sriracha chili sauce
- 1 tablespoon Gourmet Gardens lemongrass
- zest and juice of one lime
- kosher salt and coarse ground pepper to taste
Asian Infused Chicken Burger
- 2 pounds ground chicken
- 2 tablespoons hoisin sauce
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 4 cloves of garlic, minced
- 4 green onions, minced
- kosher salt and coarse ground pepper to taste
- 6 sesame seed hamburger buns
Instructions
Spicy Mayo
- Mix together the mayonnaise, chili sauce, Gourmet Gardens lemongrass, lime zest and lime juice. Season with salt and pepper to taste and set aside.
Asian Infused Chicken Burger
- Combine the chicken together with the hoisin and soy sauce. Add the other ingredients including the sesame oil, garlic and onions. Season with salt and pepper.
- Form into patties, they will be quite moist from all the sauces that we have added but that’s good.
- Form a small dent in the center of the patty with your thumb.
- Cook patties on a griddle over medium low heat, keep a close eye on them because they tend to burn.
- Cook about 4 or 5 minutes on each side until the internal temperature is 160 degrees F.
- Remove from griddle and let sit 5 minutes.
Assembling your Burgers
- Spread Spicy Mayo on both the top and bottom sections of the buns.
- Add your burger and top with lettuce.
