Fall is nearing, you know what that means! Pumpkin everything! From pies to candles and even air fresheners. Since Fall is my favorite season, I decided to jump on the pumpkin bandwagon just a little bit earlier and celebrate with a homemade Pumpkin Pie Spice Smoothie!
Watch out, Summer! Fall is taking over and that means that Halloween is just around the corner. Time to start putting away the pool toys and porch furniture as well as rolling in the grills to replace them with Fall décor! Pumpkins, scarecrows, and beautifully colored leaves. I’ve always enjoyed sitting by the window and watching the leaves fall every year. But this year, I decided that it would be nice to have a treat to enjoy while watching. So, I ran to the kitchen and got started.
This Pumpkin Pie Spice Smoothie is easy to make and pretty affordable. Most of the things you need to use in order to mix together the ‘spice’ are found in your every day pantry. I used our Pumpkin Spice Recipe to make it! You’ll have some left over, so store it away for the next round of smoothies or something else that requires Pumpkin Spice!
I made this drink with just a few ingredients; Pumpkin Pie filling, Pumpkin spice, ice cream and just a dash of milk to make it easier to mix! I also adjusted the amount of pumpkin pie filling in this smoothie for desired pumpkin flavor. The more you add, the more pumpkin-y it’s going to taste! But for the perfect balance, I only added a cup.
Since Fall is my favorite season, I know I’ll be sitting near the window to watch the leaves fall or wrapped up in a throw blanket on the porch to enjoy the fresh breeze with a glass of this smoothie along with a delicious recipe from 10 Comfort Foods for Fall! - 4 Cups Softened Vanilla Ice Cream
- 1 Cup Pumpkin Pie Filling
- 1 teaspoon of Pumpkin Spice
- ⅓ cup milk
- Add ingredients to blender.
- Blend until contents are well mixed.
