We have been planning to share this General Tso Chicken with you for a couple weeks, but the first batch we made disappeared so fast that we didn’t even have time to take photos for you.
So we tripled the batch this time to make sure, and ended up having to take a picture quickly before the boys ate it all again.
We used General Tso’s Chicken Seasoning from Sun-Bird, and it’s great (just ask the boys) and it’s easy (just ask Doug). Sun-Bird has many different varieties to choose from, we have only tried two so far, but loved them both. The Pork Fried Rice was the first seasoning we tried, super easy and great flavor. But the General Tso Chicken…we were almost fighting over it! I couldn’t believe the taste, it was so good I had seconds and I don’t typically like spicy foods. I even grabbed onto the small amount of leftovers from the big batch the next day before anyone else could.
Simple ingredients make this dish economical and Sun-Bird helped make it tasty. Serve it with your choice of rice and be prepared to add it to your menu regularly.
A quick and easy family favorite with authentic Asian flavor. PocketChangeGourmet.com

Thanks for sharing!
Hi! I’m making this recipe tonight & I was reading the directions & wondered when you added the soy sauce? Do you add it to the sugar, water & seasoning mix? Let me know! Thanks so much! ~Stacy
Hi Stacy,
You guessed right, the soy sauce gets added to the sugar, water & seasoning mix. Sorry about the omission. I’m correcting that right now.
