This week marks the last installment of our Farmer’s Market Friday summer series – we hope you’ve enjoyed it and found a lot of new ways to use all the great produce that is available at this time of the year! And today, to finish the series, we are celebrating peaches in all their sweet, juicy goodness. I’m not sure there’s another fruit that is as associated with late summer, and it’s one fruit that just isn’t the same at any other time of the year – peaches are best eaten fresh in season to get that ultimate peach flavor!
So of course you know we’ve got you covered with some delicious recipes to enjoy peaches over the next few weeks when they are at their best – salads, desserts, pies, and even pizza! We’ve also found some awesome ways to preserve that height-of-the-season peach flavor for a little while longer through freezing and canning.
