Pizza Sliders
- 1⅓ cups water
- 2 teaspoons sugar
- 1¼ teaspoon salt
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 tablespoons corn meal
- 3¼ cups flour {we used all-purpose}
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- ¼ teaspoon garlic powder
- ¼ teaspoon onion powder
- 1½ teaspoon yeast {about 1 package}
- 1 egg yolk
- 1 tablespoon of water
- 1 small can tomato paste
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon butter
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1 teaspoon dried parsley
- 1 teaspoon dried basil
- ½ - 1 cup of water
- Sausage and Pepperoni, or your favorites
- Mozzarella Cheese
- Place ingredients in bread machine according to manufacturers instructions. We add the dry then the wet in ours.
- After the bread machine is done, roll dough onto floured surface.
- Mix dry ingredients together
- Add wet ingredients and stir until combined
- Melt butter over medium heat in a small sauce pan.
- Mince garlic and add to pan and saute for 2 minutes.
- Add tomato paste and dried herbs and combine.
- Stir in water to achieve desired consistency, usually takes at least ½ cup.
- Simmer for 5 minutes to join flavors.
- Roll out dough and cut with 4 inch cookie cutter
- Form the dough making a ridge around about ¼ inch
- Brush with egg mixture
- Add 1-2 teaspoons Pizza Sauce
- Top with your favorite toppings
- Bake at 400 degrees for about 9 - 11 minutes
