Just like your favorite Pizza Restaurant, these Sliders are easy and fun to make! Original recipe from PocketChangeGourmet.com
Ingredients
Dough
  • 1⅓ cups water
  • 2 teaspoons sugar
  • 1¼ teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons corn meal
  • 3¼ cups flour {we used all-purpose}
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • ¼ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ¼ teaspoon onion powder
  • 1½ teaspoon yeast {about 1 package}
Egg Mixture for brushing
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 1 tablespoon of water
Pizza Sauce
  • 1 small can tomato paste
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon butter
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon dried parsley
  • 1 teaspoon dried basil
  • ½ - 1 cup of water
Toppings
  • Sausage and Pepperoni, or your favorites
  • Mozzarella Cheese
Instructions
Pizza Dough for Bread Machine
  1. Place ingredients in bread machine according to manufacturers instructions. We add the dry then the wet in ours.
  2. After the bread machine is done, roll dough onto floured surface.
Pizza Dough by Hand
  1. Mix dry ingredients together
  2. Add wet ingredients and stir until combined
Pizza Sauce
  1. Melt butter over medium heat in a small sauce pan.
  2. Mince garlic and add to pan and saute for 2 minutes.
  3. Add tomato paste and dried herbs and combine.
  4. Stir in water to achieve desired consistency, usually takes at least ½ cup.
  5. Simmer for 5 minutes to join flavors.
Pizza Sliders
  1. Roll out dough and cut with 4 inch cookie cutter
  2. Form the dough making a ridge around about ¼ inch
  3. Brush with egg mixture
  4. Add 1-2 teaspoons Pizza Sauce
  5. Top with your favorite toppings
  6. Bake at 400 degrees for about 9 - 11 minutes
