Whether you are heading to the stadium or enjoying the game at home, everyone loves a Tailgating Party! Keeping it quick and easy, not only helps you but also makes your guests feel at ease.

With a house full of men, football has always been a big part of our lives, especially when our middle son played in High School. But now, we are venturing into a whole new world of college football. Although, he won’t be playing football in college, I’m sure there will be many opportunities for us to visit and enjoy watching the team play.

We found everything for the Easy Tailgate Party at Walmart. And the best thing…I didn’t have to cook a thing! Told you it was easy!

The party sub is from the Deli, you can order different sizes depending on how many you are feeding. We served a 6 foot sub and it was only $28! That’s a deal my friends! And let me tell you, these party subs are packed with meat and veggies. The boys were shocked at how heavy they were.

The only work I really did was to cut the subs and the cheese. We found Ritz crackers that have footballs on them, and the cheese is from the refrigerated case near the Deli. Oreo cookies shaped like footballs and Marketside Chipotle Ranch Dip to go with the chips finished out the party snacks.

Now in case you are looking for more Tailgating Recipes, I thought I would share some of our favorites…

  1. I just love tailgating/football food, I’m so glad it’s that time again!! I tried a Walmart sub at a birthday party last month, they are wonderful and a great deal for feeding the crowd!

  2. This inspires me to want to be more creative for my college tailgate parties! Where did you get the grass table cloth and the football field yard line paper? Love it!

    • Hi Victoria, the grass tablecloth game from Party City, I believe and the football runner I’ve had for several years and received it as a gift. Sorry, I couldn’t help more.
