Well, here we are again…time for the Monthly Menu Plan. As the weather gets colder here, our menu turns to more comfort foods, soups and casseroles and with the busy holiday upon us we will be using the slow cooker more too.

  1. Ya’ll got it going on! I wish I could discipline myself to write out a monthly menu and stick to it, instead of writing it down the day of. What I cook at the beginning of the week, we eat the rest of the week, since it’s just the three of us. I hate to throw out food! Most recipes I use are enough to feed six or more, or so it seems. I do freeze leftovers occasionally, however.
