Todd and Diane, the White on Rice Couple have been favorites of mine for years. Any chance I got to learn from them about food photography and recipes, I jump at the chance. Their work is simply stunning, but even more, they are truly genuine.

They love sharing their delicious recipes, gorgeous photography and amazing videos on their blog, WhiteonRiceCouple.com. But they also have kind hearts that show through the love for the work.

Todd and Diane have released their new cookbook, Bountiful, offering 100 seasonal, flavorful, and approachable recipes, each featuring a vegetable or fruit as the star of the meal. Blueberry Frangipane Tarts, Wilted Mizuna Shrimp Salad, Blood Orange Bars, and Gin Cocktail with Pomegranate & Grapefruit just to name a few.

Peppered with personal stories from Todd’s childhood on a cattle ranch in Oregon and Diane’s journey from Vietnam to the United States, this cookbook shares the couples’ beautiful love story as well as their diverse recipes that reflects their love of fresh and healthy produce, seasonally ripe fruit, and sharing a home cooked meal with those you love.

One of my favorite all time videos was made by Todd and Diane. I watched this video over and over, sent it to my boys and shared it with friends and family.

Doug and I have been inspired by their work more times than I can count. And their video for Bountiful is inspiring as well.

  1. I would say that my favorite recipes to share are ones for casseroles that I like to make and share when people have a new baby or something going on where I make a meal for someone. That way they get your love in the form of the casserole and then a warm feeling later because of the recipe that you shared as well!

  2. My favorite meal to make my family is meatloaf with sides of potatoes and asparagus.

  3. My son usually grills/smokes the meat and I provide the side dishes from whatever is in season in our garden.
