Welcome to Pocket Change Gourmet!

Pocket Change Gourmet is a combined effort of Liz and Doug and was born out of a desire to share our passions of cooking for our family using easy, creative recipes and saving money at the same time. These are not necessarily two opposites, with a little creativity and information any family can have home cooked meals that are exciting and flavorful on a budget.

Liz who shares her passion for baking and decorating over at Hoosier Homemade, brings over twenty years of providing delicious and frugal meals to her family of men. Doug, who started out as a reluctant chef has come to enjoy and even create some recipes for our friends and family from our home in Northwest Indiana, home to beautiful lakes, varied cultures, farms, and orchards that provide fresh and delicious produce and products.
